Kim, Andrew and their three children have lived on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. since 2007. Kim graduated from Michigan State University with a BS in Kinesiology. She has always had an interest in child and maternal health and her desire to help others was strengthened with the birth of her two children.

After their births, she began the training process to provide birth education and support to other families. This path led her to become a childbirth educator and labor and postpartum doula. She is a trained Postpartum and Labor Doula.  She became a Certified Lactation Counselor in September 2017 and is currently studying to become a International Board Certified Lactation Consultant.

Kim provides non-judgement, evidence based support for parents from all walks of life.  She has no personal expectations on how or where you should give birth and she provides a professionalism and compassion to your birth experience. Kim helps you advocate for the birth experience you want. She's excited to help support you as you grow your family!
